Welcome to Cooke Collegians Cricket Club, Belfast.

We have two senior teams playing in The Northern Cricket Union (NCU) along with youth teams at Under 13 & Under 15 level.

After winning Section 3 last season, our 1st XI are looking forward to a return to Section 1 (formerly Section 2) in 2009. As well as the league programme, we will also be competing in the Senior Challenge Cup, Ulster Shield and for the first time the Twenty20 shield.

Our 2nd XI will be competing in Section 3 of Division 2, as well as the Intermediate Cup.

We are based at Shaw’s Bridge in South Belfast with club net practice taking place every Tuesday evening throughout the season from 6.30pm. New players, of all abilities are very welcome.

Latest Headlines (29th June 2009):

1st XI out of Ulster Shield. We fall 41 runs short of Cliftonville’s total of 206 on an almost pleasant day at Mallusk.

Another league defeat on Saturday. Derriaghy ease past CC’s 130 with ‘pro’ Aphale to the fore.

2nd XI make it 3 out of 3. CC wrap up an easy win against Victoria at Lurgan Park by 8 wickets on Saturday.
