Welcome to Cooke Collegians Cricket Club, Belfast.

We have two senior teams playing in The Northern Cricket Union (NCU) along with youth teams at Under 13 & Under 15 level.

After a difficult return to Section 1 last season, our 1^st XI will be looking to bounce straight back up from Section 2 again in 2010. As well as the league programme, we will also be competing in the Junior Cup for the first time in a number of years, due to the Senior Cup now being restricted to teams from the top two sections only.

Our 2^nd XI will be competing in Section 3 of Division 2, as well as the Intermediate Cup.

We are based at Shaw’s Bridge in South Belfast with club net practice taking place every Tuesday evening throughout the season from 6.30pm. New players, of all abilities are very welcome.

Latest Headlines (31st August 2010):

2^nd XI Promoted. Congratulations to Graeme Pollock and his team for securing promotion from Division 2 Section 3 over the weekend. After a Friday evening 9 wicket victory over Portadown and a comfortable 7 wicket win on Saturday against Cregagh, CC are guaranteed at least a share of the title.

1^st XI looking good for a 3^rd place finish. CC won their penultimate league fixture with an 84 run victory at Larne. CC were unusually asked to bat first and made 195-9 from their 50 overs. Lucy (43) top scoring. Larne were rarely in the hunt chasing this total down with Burnside (4-13) the pick of the bowlers.

2^nd XI waiting to finalise last critical game. The last and deciding game, planned for this coming Saturday against Armagh has been postponed due to The Mall being unavailable.
